Marriages Are Made In Heaven

I have witnessed two. My parents' for one, the other being that of my sis and jiju.

My parents have been together for a good 28 years, and heres wishing them many many more. Their married life has spanned moments of love, joy, sadness and that of tensions. What is important in a marriage is the partnership that holds both the ends together. Love is the key. I am glad to state that my parents have had a wonderful time of togetherness, blessed with love. In many ways, they are opposites- my mom loves being tensed; my dad loves to stay cool- but its the bonding that matters in the end of the day. Even though they both don't profess in expressing love openly, they know each others love quotient for the other and have full trust in each other. The making-ups after the numerous quarrels and 'soundarya-pennakumms' advocate their love to each other. Having three wonderful children(yes! me too- now who is that who says i m not wonderful), they now lead a content, relaxed life. I look upto them, and in many ways long to have a similar blissed life.

My sister recently tied the knot with my jiju (05/05/05-terrific date for such an occassion; jiju can never forget the anniversary date for sure :) ; another divine intervention). The wedding was nothing short of a celebration in paradise. My sister looked gorgeous to the hilt - godsent! N my jiju looked as smart as he has always been - a proper gentleman. Together they make an even more pretty picture. As the knot was tied and they held hands together, thousands of blessings were showered on them. This one surely was made in heaven. Hope they take a chapter or two out of my parents' life and learn to respect, trust and love each other. I hope to write an even better sequel many years later. Here is to many, many years of happiness and memories.
